For this cake I baked a 9 inch contour cake,torted it for height.The brim is fondant rolled out onto a 16 inch cake board. I put paper towels uder the fondant to make the waves of the brim.I cut out a 7 inch circle in the middle of the big circle. So that the cake itself set on the cake board.Placed the cake in the middle. Airbrused it all yellow . The ribbon was attached last and then the royal flowers. Hope this helps. Andi
