Wedding cake from this weekend. It was nerve racking only because I went to deliver it and the wedding was the same place as the receptiona and I had an audience of about 30 people watching me put the cake together. Stressful!!

Awsome! I love it. The colors are great. the flowers are great. What a fun couple that picked this out as their wedding cake. Can I ask, is each cake level then placed on an angled dummy? And, did you put a dowel through the whole thing at the end?

Oh I love it...are they sugar flowers? I hate it when people watch...I start to do dumb things like forget to take a picture!!! Luckily you didn't

I love this cake as well. The colors are great, the look is great. I too would like to know if you doweled the whole thing and if you used any dummies. Going into faves.

I'm making a wedding cake for a couple getting married in Nov and they loved your topsy turvy cake. We will need three tiers, but they want square cakes instead of circles. Do you think this will work?

I don't see why it wouldn't. If you have fake tiers I would play around with how they look topsy turvy because i don't remember ever seeing a square one before. And you might want to sketch out the designs on it becasue some designs don't always look as good on squares as on rounds because of the corners interrupting the flow

here's the 411- The bottom 2 are fake top 2 real. I didn't use styrofoam wedges between though that's a good idea for nest time. They are just doweled with a dowel down teh whole center. Even that way it pretty sturdy. I had the bottom three doweled together to transport it and added teh top a the reception site. We drove 20 miles and had no problems.
