Purple Wedding Cake
This cake was for a vow renewal ceremony. First time for such an important occasion, I usually just make cakes for office birthdays. It's all buttercream with gumpaste flowers (first time ever using gumpaste).

Your flowers are so beautiful! what is in the centers? They look sparkley in the picture like rhinestones??
Yes, they're sparkly! I loved them! :) I got them at Micheal's Craft Store in the flower supply section. They're like little purple beads all clumped together (they had other colors, too). $1.50 for a bunch and I used two bunches for all the flowers. Not edible but not harmful, either. Thank you for the compliment! :lol:
