This cake was for a vow renewal ceremony. First time for such an important occasion, I usually just make cakes for office birthdays. It's all buttercream with gumpaste flowers (first time ever using gumpaste).
Yes, they're sparkly! I loved them! :) I got them at Micheal's Craft Store in the flower supply section. They're like little purple beads all clumped together (they had other colors, too). $1.50 for a bunch and I used two bunches for all the flowers. Not edible but not harmful, either.
