Thanks everyone for your kind comments ... All I did was take a big lump of fondant and & start shaping it in my hands! The top bit I just put my thumb down the centre (where the foot would go in) & pinched the edge into a scallop shape. It was a bit messy & full of thumb prints in there so I shaped some flowers & put them on top to hide that bit! I then got little lengths of satin ribbon & inserted them at intervals around the top to look like it was laced up & left a long length to flop over the boot....
