I made this cake for my daughter's birthday pool party. The entire cake is edible; the people in the pool were figure piped, blue gel was added over the blue buttercream "water" to give a more realistic appearance. Beach balls are large gumballs. The woman in the blue bathing suit is floating in a buttercream "inner tube".
