Pillow cake covered in MMF. Gumpaste baby and butterfly wings. Major issues with this cake. First time using gumpaste; it kept cracking. Baby looks like "The Thing" from Fantastic 4.. The pillow is very thin. I will use 2 layers next time to fluff it up. Still, it was fun!

cindww, i think you did a great job. Sounds like you had gumpaste that was far too dry. What recipe did you use??

Thanks guys. I actually used the packaged stuff from wilton that you add water to. I figured it was a good way to try it out.

Super cute! Great job shaping the pillow. And the baby & wings are awesome. Reminds me of my favorites of Anne Geddes.
