What a tough lesson learned! I will never, repeat: NEVER build my roses without a stem or wire of some kind inserted in the cone first. What a tough time I had attaching those suckers. And I lost 2 that shattered after they tumbled off the top. All roses are gumpaste/fondant mix and brushed with pearl luster dust.
