Wedding Cake, Course 3 Final
I did this cake for my Course 3 Final last night. Front side; Classic White Wedding Cake with Raspberry Buttercream filling, 2 layer 10" bottom and 2 layer 6" top tier. The cakes have a very generous layer of buttercream icing then covered in homemade fondant using Toba Garrett's recipe. Roses are fondant/gumpaste sprayed w/luster dust. Leaves the same as roses. Gold Dragees for decoration.
Thank you! :)
had you had any prior experience??? this is gorgeous!!!!!
Thank you very much!! No. This is my first tiered cake of any kind. I just started decorating the first of February and have gone through all the courses back to back. I finish the Fondant and Gumpaste Course this Thursday morning. Now I have to find more classes to take. It is sad being finished with them all.
Oh my! Your roses are GORGEOUS!!!! I can't believe this is your 1st tiered cake. Fantastic job!!!
