This is what happens when you work with geeks. A friend of mine wanted a cake with chocolate buttercream and chocolate covered strawberry cake truffles. He also wanted the characters so I had to figure out how to put them on the cake and this is what I came up with. They loved it.
OK, I must ask....is this for A-Con in Dallas this weekend?? :) Great cake, my teens love it, and of course, now I hear, "Mom, why can't YOU do a cool cake like that?" Thanks for the pressure...*lol* :D
Sorry, I forgot to say the characters and fire on the sides of the cake are fbct. The fire on top of the cake is chocolate. No not for A-Con, just a birthday. Thanks for the comments.
