Starry Night

Please be kind! I wanted to try painting a cake, so of course I chose a Van Gogh..Sheesh!! :) 8" and 6" cakes covered in fondant and painted with Wilton colors. Royal icing and luster dust accents. It obviously isn't an exact replica, my proportions are a bit off, but it was fun to try. Thanks for looking!

This is my favorite work of art of all time. I so which i had your talent so I could reacreate this. This is an amazing version of the painting. I hope you keep doing cakes like this. (I just showed this to my Boyfriend-who also really likes this painting and his comment. " WOW! that is definitely cool, so when are you going to make one like that?")

Thanks so much everyone for the nice comments. I almost scrapped the whole thing last night..I truly do not consider myself to be that artistic, just luck more than anything!
