Subdivision Sign Cake
Our subdivision celebrated 30 years and I was asked to do the "birthday" cake. I took a pic of the sign into the subdivision and attempted to recreate it. I'm pretty plased with how it turned out. 12X18X3 cake with 10" cake cut and added to bottom and top. Letters are royal icing and the rest of the cake is buttercream.
oh wow!!! excellent job..and your woodgraining is amazing....tell us how you did it!!!! please!!!
It's great, I love the writing. You must have a steady hand
Doug--I just used a fork to make the woodgrain and lightly drug it through the top of the frosting in a random, overlapping curves. And the writing is alot more "shaky" than it looks. I enlarged the letters on my printer, coverd with wax paper and traced them with royal icing.
Nicely done!
That is WONDERFUL! You did a great job!
PERFECT!!!!!
