Medieval Cookies on Cake Central

Our library's summer reading program theme is medieval times. The crown (with frog) are Alice's icing. (for Frog Prince) The "read" cookies are supposed to be knights' sheilds. (?) All are Choc. chip cookie / dress and shield are w/ Toba's icing.

I cut them before baking, like the No Fails. They are harder to work with since the chips get in the way. The recipe called for mini-chips-- that helped. Only the shields are hand-cut. Thanks for the compliments!

I tried "one" cookie :wink: and I thought they were very rich tasting. My girls loved them. My husband said the frosting was overpowering and made the whole cookie too sweet. :? I give up.

Great cookies, did you just pat the cookie dough down and then use the cutter on it. Seems like it wold be kind of hard to keep the choc. chip cookie dough together, I would love a little more detail on how you managed this. I think by now I should be President of your Fan Club! I love everything you do!
