Clothesline-Boy

Clothesline-Boy on Cake Central

This is my thrid time doing this type of clothesline cake. I'm trying to vary the borders and clothes a tiny bit each time just so it's not exactly the same. 6" & 8" rounds frosted in buttercream. Fondant buttons, clothes and baby shoes.

It's soo pretty! Love the two tone also. How'd you make the little clothes and booties? Are there a patterns for them? They are darling!

I was wondering how you get the mmf details to stick to the sides if the sides are bc? I would love to find out. I love both versions of your clothesline cake so very much!!!!

Thank you! I just used a dab of buttercream to "glue" each fondant piece on. Works like a charm. For the two tone colors, use the large icer tip with one color. Do the bottom half first, then again in the second color on top. Then gently smooth with Viva paper towel and the colors just blend with no line.
