Baby Shower Practice Cake
I just got the patchwork cutters and wanted to do some practicing with them before I did my daughter's cake. The cake itself is a lemon cake (a Mich Turner recipe) with white chocolate buttercream filling. Thanks for looking. Hope you like it.

The cutters are called Patchwork Cutters and came from Beryl's. It is easier to use them as embossers and then cut the squares out rather than try to use the cutter as a cutter. At least that's how Mich did it in her book. You are all so encouraging! Thanks! I'll be sure to post a pic of the real cake.
