I am really just practicing scrolls. I want to find my own style, I think I like my last cake better. This is a lemon pound cake with strawberry buttercream filling, IMBC (lemon flavored) frosting, and buttercream roses and scrolls.
Your roses look great. Your icing looks nice and smooth on the cake edge, which is not easy to do! The scrolls are placed well ..... lots of color but not overdone or overpowering. It looks great!
Thank you :) I actually intended the main scrolls to be larger, but I concentrated a bit too hard!
