This cake was nothing but trouble from the start!! Didn't let it cool long enough, so I had giant chunks out of it!! Toba Garrett's spackle technique made it possible to decorate. Anyway, it got beat up on the way home from class, hence the many very quick "patch" jobs and bruises in my pic.

It is in "The Well Decorated Cake". All I did was mix crumbled up cake and buttercream to make a paste. Then filled all my holes (or should I say caverns). It worked wonders!! I was really considering throwing the whole cake away!!
