I made this cake yesterday for my friend's wedding. Everything was prepared ahead of time and was flown with me to CA where I assembled the cake. The flowers were from the bride's beautiful garden. She is Chinese hence the red border.
I froze the cakes in their pans and wrapped them up real well. The buttercream was frozen as well. I'm glad I packed well because the box was torn open on the side when I got it back but nothing broke.
