10" chocolate-chocolate chip cake , and an 8" devil's food cake, both filled with raspberry chocolate buttercream. Iced in buttercream with fondant flowers, tiles, banner and stars. Figures on top are Fisher-Price Little People. Many thanks to boween for her Dora cakes, this is an attempted copy of her cake. I wasn't happy with this one however my girls adored it so that's what counts!

How do you do the fondant stars? Do you stick the wire in before they are dry? What kind of wire do you use. I love these colors. It matches the Dora theme perfectly!

Thank you! Yep, just cut the stars, stick the floral wire in and let dry. Since the cake was for just us I stuck the wires into the cake otherwise that is a big 'no-no'. I would recommend doing like boween does...little fondant balls and stick the wire into that. Foral wire is not considered food safe.
