Pink Ribbon Wedding Cake

This cake was for my best friend. I was her maid of honor and also made the cake....lesson learned: I will never again make a cake for a wedding I'm in! It was all carrot cake with cinnamon cream cheese filling. crusting cream cheese icing covered with Satin Ice fondant.

Ha! I learned that lesson too - the first wedding cake I ever made was for my sister... of course, I forgot the lesson a few years later when my other sister got married! Beautiful cake.

Excellent job on both cakes! I learned it also- maid of honor at my sisters wedding while stressing making about a hundred "tuxedo" strawberries for the grooms cake that morning! Never again (guess it's okay for a sister's wedding- thank goodness I only have one!)
