This is a buttercream icing with the Patchwork cutters book ends. The glasses frame is gumpaste and the lenes are made with geltin sheets. As far as the snitch its rolled up foil cover with golden yellow fondant and dusted with old gold. The wings are cut of from the trifolds lace. The sleeping dragon was hand molded and painted and placed on the cake before the fondant set up.

A geletin Sheet is knox geletin mixed with water and spread out to dry and then you can cut it into any shape.

AH HA!! Thanks for the glasses tip! I've been searching for an hour trying to figure out if I wanted to do poured sugar for lenses or leave them empty! Never would have thought of gelatin!
