I must admit - when it came to decorating the cookies - I did not know what design - so I had my kids take turns and sit down with me - and they told me what to put where - so it was kind of fun - and I guess they knew what they were doing.
Love it, I saw something like it the other day on tv, was a baby theme. I have 2 nieces that are pregnane, I thought it would be an adorable idea. So I got the cookie cutters, but now I am stuck. What kind of icing did you use?
brightbrats - I used the basic Wilton cookie icing - powder sugar, water & corn syrup - for the basic coloring - and then BC for the details that went on top. Also - instead of using sugar cookies - because I think it is too sweet between the cookies & icing - I used shortbread cookies - it is also a little softer - so you can easily cut one of the big cookie in 1/2 instead of eating the whole cookie - but then - who can eat just one - never mind a half :D qtkaylassweets - yes - I did...
