Thomas is all edible except for lollipop sticks in RR crossings and the cake board, the face is hand sculped from fordant.

Thanks bardolp, I have been doing this for 14 months. I used the Wilton Choo Choo Train Pan and three mini loaf pans. I had to modify to add smoke stacks, cow catcher and coal car. Thats where the mini loafs came in. Put it together with butter cream icing and covered with fondant. I attached the sculpted face with royal icing. This cake was for a 3 yr old so it had to be 100% edible.
Should be sculpted and fondant.
