Rip Tombstone For 40Th B-Day

Rip Tombstone For 40Th B-Day on Cake Central

This was the Wilton tombstone pan the I use to create this. This was used with the dirt mound "grave" cake, already posted. The RIP stood for "Roast In Peas" as my husband is an Executive Chef.(my 16 yr. old's idea) We had this cake propped up to the dirt mound cake and had it carried out on a stretcher where we read a comical Eulogy before lighting the candles.

Thank You! WE had a blast, did the whole restaurant up in a graveyard and the Eulogy was a HUGE hit! Even did poster boards from birth til 40...talk about a long walk through life. LOL! Even invited through 17 yrs of employees and places of employment. It was great to catch up and remember the good times in life. I think it made him feel a little better about sliding over the hill. LMAO! BTW...I forgot to mention that this is a Butter Pecan cake with Frangelico mousse filling.
