Too cool. Makes me want to try colorflow. I'm sure he loves it! 8)

Awesome. How did you do the buildings? My son turns 5 in August. He wants something similar. Is it cookies? Are they baked on curve...they look sort of curved in the picture. Also, where did you get the superhero guys?

How cute, you really done a super job! I'm sure ANY little boy would be just crazy over this cake.

The buildings are made of colorflow and the name is sugar cookie. This was featured in the Wilton 2005 yearbook. You can get the building patterns from the Wilton website. They are not curved but are placed around a 6" cake. I got the superheroes from my local cake store.

Okay, I've never done a stacked cake before, but want to! What support system do I need to purchase? LOVE your work! Thanks! :)

I just used wooden dowels and cut them to the size I needed using a handi-cut knife by craftsman I bought at Sears. This was a 6" on a 12" so I used 5 dowels under the 6" to support the weight. I used 2 6" cardboard rounds under the top layer. There are a lot of discussions on stacked cakes in the forums. I just perused the forums before I attempted, and it turned out great. Good Luck!
