Cake For My Aunt's 100Th Birthday.
Buttercream and yellow cake. The Chinese character is long life and is crusting buttercream with gold dust. I made 2 sheet cakes with white buttercream and red character for eating. All this red coloring tasted terrible!

That's really beautiful. Are the lines on top fondant? Don't say they're buttercream because they are so straight. :)
Thank you for your compliments! The cake board has a thin layer of buttercream on it and I pulled a brush over it to give it texture. And the character is crusted buttercream with dust applied afterward. The lines on top are buttercream.
