In album: teacher
This is cheesecake decorated in fonadnt with apple cupcakes for the teacher's students. It's all edible. I was very happy with the green color. And I put it in a box in my fridge (sice it was cheesecake) and it was fine. No bleeding or anything.

that's awesome! You covered a chesecake in fondant? How did that work out? Did you remove it or eat it on the cheesecake? Such a creative idea! ashley.rovenski@gmail.com

I put this, fondant & all in a box in my fridge & it was not problem at all. No bleeding or anything. I make my own fondant & it's yummy, I leave it on whether it's a cake cake or cheesecake.

i once read somewhere before that a cheesecake couldn't carry the weight of fondant. i'm soooo glad you proved it otherwise. i like cheesecake! so you probably made a heavy grand old-fashioned type of cheesecake right? not those light (no-bake) ones? and i really loooove this entire design. i might use it for my daughter to bring to kindergarten, ok?

Yes, I make a real, heavy cheesecake. Cream cheese, sugar, and eggs baked for an hour. I even make fondant wedding cheesecakes without issues. I'd never heard fondant was too heavy for cheesecake. I guess ignorance is bliss.
