Course Ii Finale Cake

Well, I just completed Course II last Thursday, and this is my finale cake. My basketweave design sucks because I did it ahead of class time (with no practice, might I add) because I had to leave class early and knew I wouldn't have time to finish it during class AND add the flowers. Also, I had complete disaster with my Royal Icing flowers: the first batch got destroyed when the box popped open, and spilled them everywhere, causing them to break and crack and the second batch just didn't harden up!

Also wanted to add that this 4 layers, alternating between chocolate and white cake, with Oreo Buttercream filling.

Beautiful flowers! the cakes sounds so yummy...cookies and buttercream, can't beat that witha stick! :D :D ;-D As for your basketweave it looks good to me, besides nobody makes a worse basketweave than me, I'm terrible at it

It looks great to me. Sorry, you had so much trouble. I have days like that. My family still talks about how much I despise the Dora character. She nearly caused them to put me in a padded room.
