In album: cone
We had a swim party for the end of the year & I needed a quick, easy dessert for the kids...plus it needed to be easily transported. Came up with the idea of the cups and the m&m's...the candy gave the cones a 'seat' and kept them from flopping around. Plus, the kids were able to munch on it, then put it back in their cup and swim or play some more...worked out great! Chocolate, vanilla & strawberry cake w/chocolate & vanilla BC. Thanks for looking!

Looks great! :D I love the idea of tranporting in cups w/M & M's. I'm sure the kids were happy.

What a fun treat! It looks delicious! Do you bake the cake in the cone just like a cupcake? I would love to try this if I could borrow your idea.

These are so great! Everytime I see these, it reminds me of my grade school years, these were my fav treat to bring to class. :)

Thanks, y'all! Pinky1 - yeah, you just fill the cones about 3/4 full with the batter and bake...you put the cones in a muffin tin. If you're worried about them flopping around, you can cover the muffin tin with foil and poke holes into the foil and slip the cones in. That'll help them stay upright. I wish I could take credit for coming up w/this idea, but I'm one of probably thousands who've done this...LOL. Thanks to whoever did it first! LOL

These are so cute! Had never heard of this idea until my friend asked for them for her birthday. Now I know why she wanted them - so cute!!
