Chocolate cake with buttercream icing and royal icing flowers. I did so much basketweave because I still struggle with getting a nice smooth look when I ice the cake. I was thrilled with the colors. When I delivered the cake, the basketweave color was a perfect match to the tablecloth, the lavender flowers matched the plates, and the dark purple accents matched the silverware and napkins. I couldn't have gotten it so exact if I had samples to match it to.
