Made for my new daughter-in-love. My second wedding cake. Not a great pic for detail. All fondant. Bottom and top layers are "quilted" with pearl dragees in points. Middle tier is small triangles with pearl dragees. Top is silk hydrangea to match bouquets. All is sprinkled with flaked sugar to make it sparkly...

You did a great job on this. How did you do the "quilting"?

I used a one inch cardboard template with the appropriate angle at bottom. Then used the fondant embosser. Next time I would measure better so things would come out better at corners.

yes - very easy - only tricky part was getting the bottom ones on - four hands helps!

An absolutely gorgeous cake! It looks so luxurious and rich! Love the quilting! I think the giant pearl seperator plates really add to the look of the cake. Nice decision!
