From today! The cake was a tier of Sweet Lemon with fresh raspberries and Dark Choclate with Grand Marnier. Yum!! The fondant is actually the palest pink, hard to see.

Just gorgeous!! Yeah, what did the cake say and how did you do it?

I went to a craft store and bought a stencil template...capitals and lower case. I just used one of those big fluffy stencil brushes and green edible powder for gumpaste flowers. (My advice is go LIGHTER than you would think. It is more powerful than you believe! And also...work BACKWARDS. Start with the last letter and work around the cake to assure everything will fit nicely!!) The lyrics were from the Amanda Marshall song "If I Didn't Have You", the bride and groom's special song.

Beautiful cake! Thanks for the tips. Are those real flowers? You can't tell real from the gumpaste anymore.

Yes, those are real. I think the florist expected the cake to be a bit bigger!!

The flowerslook so real and natural. How did you manage such perfect looking flowers? Thangam

The flowers actually are real. The florist had them arranged in a little plastic ring already...really easy to just position on top.
