first attempt at a box cake. Not easy, had problems supporting the lid, suggestions would be appreciated.

did you try to support it with dowels
I had a very thin piece of plywood trimmed to fin the dimensions of the cake and if you look inside the box, you can see the 2 dowels I used to prop it open. I think maybe it was open too wide, as I'm not happy about them showing. I've seen other boxes people did and they looked really nice.
