Swags And Roses on Cake Central

This was a four tier cake - the bottom tier was only 2 layers, the rest were my usual 4, in four different flavors. The cake was based in Italian Meringue buttercream, covered with fondant. Additions were fondant swags and pearls. The flowers on the tiers were made from gumpaste. The leaves were airbrushed, the roses were colored with "flaming red" petal dust... they were acually done in white gumpaste then dusted when dried and still came out that amazing color! Stephanotis and berries complete the cake!

WOW! Thank you all very, very much!! A few answers for you - the roses were brushed dry with petal dust, the berries and flowers are all gumpaste and edible, the leaves were airbrushed with a machine. I think I covered all the questions. It's really funny, but the front got slightly damaged in transport...good thing I always make and bring extra flowers!! The fondant got sliced by the box, but I was able to fix with an additional spray at the bottom..The bride appreciated it also!!! Thank you all again!!

Did you petal dust the roses dry or did you use spirits? Lovely job, did you airbrush with a can on the leaves or do you have an airbrush machine? Are the berries and stephanotis edible as well?
