I wanted to make something special for my mother-in-law.  Beneath the  Fudge Chocolate, French Vanilla and Hazelnut wafer cookies and chocolate dipped strawberries is her favorite treat.  Inside is a moist four layer yellow cake, with each layer filled with non-dairy whipped cream and fresh strawberries.

Mother's Day Pirouline Cake

Great idea, looks delicious! How did you get the strawberries to hold up? Did you freeze them after dipping?

i didnt freeze them at all...in fact you can either dip them the night before or that morning even...and then just place them on a sheet of waxed paper to allow them to set...chocolate dipped strawberries are not as difficult as you might think...but beware...once they are put into the refrigerator and then removed, there is a chance of condensation on the chocolate and then they will have a sweaty appearance...
