Present Birthday Cake
This cake was ordered for a woman's 70th birthday. Wire edged ribbon and silk flowers were used. Cake is iced in buttercream.

Thank you so much for all of your nice comments! Samsgranny--the pans I used had perfectly straight sides w/sharp corners. I tried to maintain the sharpness of the corners when I frosted and smoothed the icing. :)

Learning how to make my own bows is something I hope to accomplish soon; for now, I had someone in the floral dept. at Michael's make it for me. I hate having to pay someone though, so I just bought a "bowdini" from Michael's so I can make my own. Haven't tried it yet, though. Thanks again!
