Jewelry Box Cake

Jewelry Box Cake on Cake Central

I made this cake for my friends Jewelry Store opening. We should have put a gaurd by it because only 30 min. after I delivered it to the opening party someone thought it was a real jewelry box and stuck their finger in the top trying to lift it to see what was in it. SOME PEOPLE ARE SO DUMB! after that I was so sick about the 2 1/2 days it took me to make I had to leave. My new moto is deliver, get paid and go HOME. Thank god I took pictures before I left home with it!!!!!! I hope you like it

Awesome job!!! Sorry about the finger sticker but look at it this way....you did such an excellent job with it that someone thought it was "real"! That's a compliment! Although, they SHOULD keep their hands to themselves!!!!! I love the cake!

Absolutely beautiful! Side note on the finger in the top: That is why museums put velvet ropes up for special works of art. People just have to touch. Again as ellyrae stated - it is a compliment, because it looked so real!
