I'll post em here so all can see... make your roll cake and ice it with chocolate buttercream, then pipe ganache randomly all over and rub with your hands to make the different colors in the rough bark. The two branch stubs are made from the excess pieces when cutting the two ends on the diagonal. Stick em on, smooth the side icing (just your fingers is fine, remember this is bark), ice the exposed cut ends smooth with a small offset spatula and pipe a ganache spiral for the rings.
