Totally awesome job! Did you look at a real pair of shoes as you did these? You're right about the label. Really adds to the realistic look of the whole thing! Great job!!!

Thank you !!! Yes, ellyrae, I found a pic of a pair of white Vera Wangs, removed the back straps, cut down the heel height (not quite confident enough to try a really high heel), and per customer request-colored them blue. And Nati was so gracious in sharing her label design. It really made the cake!

This is a wonderful cake! I have to do one in August and hope I can do it half as well. Your cakes are fabulous!

Ok I am in AWE!!!! this is sooooo real looking it's scary lol. My mom would love this cake for her birthday...could you give me the hint on the label? Absolutely stunning :) !!!!

Thanks Christi! Just cut a rectangle from white gumpaste and allow to dry thoroughly, then use edible markers to write the name, shoe size and barcode. :D
