Bunny

Bunny on Cake Central

This was the second birthday cake they ordered for their daughter's 4th birthday, so they wanted this one to be a birthday/Easter theme since the second party was on Easter. The bunny's head is rice krispies, only because they only needed 6 servings so I didn't want to deal with using cake for it. I used an extruder to make a fuzzy tail.

oh my gosh this is the cutest thing in the world! How did you get the fondant so smooth if the head is all rice krispies? and is the bottom half a ball cake? what about the arms & feet? just fondant? [email protected]

Love it. I jus did Hello Kitty for the first time, head, body and feet all cake serving 50. Next time I would like to trim it down more, it came out so fat. You said you used 1/2 ball pan for the body? Is the back flat, could you send me a pic from the back. Did you crush your rice krispies before you molded it, it is really smooth.

The body is not the ball pan, it's a 5 in cake just 1/2 the ball pan on top, then carved. I didn't crush the rice krispies, but I did roll the head around on the table to kind of squash it down a little. Then I put a pretty thick layer of fondant on it.
