How did you like using the rolled buttercream? I've used it before and LOVE it but found it hard to get from the counter to the top of the cookie... Did you have any problem w/that?
What I did was rolled the frosting out very thin on parchment paper..cut the shape leaving about 1 inch between..lightly brushed the top of the cookie with corn syrup..popped it upside down on the frosting shape..put in the fridge to set.Did the next batch..removed the first batch and pulled off the parchment paper.At this point you can gently push the frosting into shape on the cookie top.I let these dry until I finished all the cookies..then decorated with Royal frosting.Centers are candy buttons from ...
