In community album: Whimsical / Topsy-Turvy Cakes
This cute cake was done for at the guest regestry table just as a cute decoration.  The bride wanted it done as a false cake so that she could take it to her next reception since they were having one in Canada and another in the States.  I made the mold using the Wilton "cottage" (3D) pan using rice krispies (good tip for making molds), and then covered it with royal icing.  I did the stained glass in royal icing ahead of time and the steeple is cardboard covered in royal icing as well.
