This looks great. I have to do one with dipped strawberries. Do you have to put them on at the last minute, or will they be ok on the cake a couple of hours?
1/2 cup crisco, 1/2 cup butter, 4 cups sugar, 3/4 cup hershey cocoa, 1 tablespoon brown mexican vanilla, thin with water instead of milk. Gives a nice dark color.
