This cake was a quick fun one because the roses are made out of tootsie rolls--I don't know if this is frequently done but I needed chocolate fondant and couldn't get the rich color of chocolate with cocoa so I used the kid's pinata tootsie rolls and they were sooo easy to work with. This cake is for my mom... so I gave everyone a cookie to use a food writer marker to write 1 word to describe my mom. The rest of the cookies will go around the base of the cake. Fun...can't wait to have a piece:)
