In album: year
This cake was made for me for Mother's Day by my 12 year old son. He baked it, frosted it, and decorated it. He only had help from the other kids - my 11 year old son, and 8 year old twin daughters! It was his first cake decorating experience!!!

What a great story. Please tell your son that he did a wonderful job on his cake. I am very proud of him in that he made such a great effort for his Mom, and tackled a difficult cake to start out with. You should be very proud (which, I'm sure you already are).

That's great! My first decorated cake was at 29 and it was just icing with smarties....
