Melysa! Oh my gosh, it's adorable!!! Hard to believe it's really so small. I love all the little touches, but the curved up tails are my fave. Great job!
Goodmorning, evryone its fifa I am a newbie here in the forum and will like some help. I like to know how many mix boxes to use when baking a cake. They come out so thin and small that I have to bake another one so yhat I could put in top. That way it will look nice and high. Please help.
thank you everyone! i hated it as i finished up- because it wasnt what i planned and i was exhausted from working on it through the night, but as more people are saving it in their favs' and commenting,.. its growing on me. thanks again for the compliments!
credit goes to tutugirl for teaching me that one! roll out a circle of fondant larger than the top of your cake. use a cardboard round the size of the cake and place it in the middle, then cut out your points or curves. place on top of the cake (glue it down with a bit of water brushed on the cake- then use a dowel or straw to curl the edges up and after a couple rounds, it will dry on its own. you can add a royal icing bead border and paint with pearl dust...looks really nice!

So cute! How did you do the top white fondant? Did you just cut out a circle and form it into a "sun" shape?
