i had so much fun working on this cake...this cake was made for my friend's daughter...she wanted me to match the cake with the invitation card.
It was an American Girl -Pajama Jam birthday party.
This is one of the best ones I've seen. I like that it's only 2 tier. I wanted to make one, but I was scared a 2 tier wouldn't look as good as the bigger ones. You did a great job!
Hi beesting, I baked 3 cakes for each tier...stacked 'em on top of each other and chilled the cake and then carved it and then a nice coat of crumb coating...and then covered with MMF. Lemme know if you have any questions.
kaymak, thnx for your comment.I used a 20 guage wire and i didn't insert 'em indiviually in the cake...I actually inserted them in a disk of fondant and let the disk dry for several days you can see the yellow round piece of fondant where the wires go. :)

I see each is tier is about 6 inches high-what size pans did you use? This is a great cake!
