Birthday Cake For Neighbor
I made this cake for my elderly neighbor. She has 6 kids, and doesn't know the last time she heard from any of them on her birthday. I wanted to make her something bright and cheerful, yet not too vibrant, but sweet. It is chocolate cake with all almond buttercream. It was my first time doing brush embroidery, vines, and reverse shell border. I am taking Wilton Course 3 now, and just learned these techniques!
Thank you! She did love it, and she refused to cut it!! Which was sad, because I have 4 kids that were looking forward to trying it! LOL
