This was for an office luncheon and Cinco de Mayo celebration. The sombrero hat is chocolate cake covered with fondant. The brim is fondant and gumpaste. The sombrero was bigger than what I intended so I had to set to the back edge of the cake. Took the picture before I added the red peppers around the bottom.
