Chocolate On Chocolate
this is a double layer moist choc cake covered in choc topping & sandwiched with the same topping as the filling. didn't plan to decorate with buttercream chrysanthemums, but, when the client told me it was meant as a birthday cake, i couldn't let the cake be plain. besides, i've just learnt how to make the chrysanthemums & would use any excuse to practise making them...hahahaha!!

Are your flowers buttercream or fondant? What tip did you use? They are beautiful.
thanks all for the positive comments. mrsa143, the flowers are buttercream, but i'm unable to tell you the tip number as i didn't use wilton tips ( i use a local malaysian brand).

yes, the leaves are buttercream too. i don't have the tip number for this as i use a local malaysian brand but u should use a large tip shaped like a leaf tip, except without the notch.
