Purple Rose
tThis is the last cake I did for wilton class course 1, class #4. We learned the rose. I was scared of the roses. (LOL) I chose to do mine all in shades of purple, with a ruffle bottom border, and cornelli lace on the sides. (this is also my first attempt at doing cornelli lace) Cornelli lace can cover a multitude of smoothing issues. I made all of the roses in class, the middle rose is the last rose that I made.It is by far the best. The rest aren't bad (imho), but I still need a lot of practice

Ohhhh!!! I LOVE the the way you did your roses! Must have taken forever with switching between the bags.
Thank you. It wasn't bad actually. I just had two bags ready with tips and all and would just put one down pick one up.
